Workshops

Drawing on an extensive knowledge base of strategy and innovation experience, materials and concepts, we conduct a range of onsite workshops custom designed to meet the needs of individual companies and organizations.

We have conducted workshops for many types of companies, from new start-ups to large corporations, working with senior executives, product development teams, new venture teams, and cross-organizational innovation champions. Our workshop programs can range from single day sessions to a series of three to five sessions over a period of months. The sessions can comprise learning, team exercises, group discussions, and other elements. They are designed to be fun, dynamic and creative, and focused on delivering actionable results.

We work with you to carefully design your workshop and plan every detail. Frequently there is pre-work – such as a participant survey or a set of market analyses – for presentation and discussion in the session. Each session is carefully facilitated to ensure maximum engagement and productivity from each participant, and to maximize group collaboration, learning and idea generation. Each session ends with a summary and a clear set of next steps. Following the session, an action plan is developed and responsibilities assigned. For programs comprising a series of workshops, work is assigned and managed between each session.

Examples of workshop programs include:

  • Realizing value from innovation: an introduction to designing business models
  • Business model definition: defining the business model for a new venture
  • Business model innovation: defining a new business model for an existing business
  • Opportunity assessment: identifying markets for new technologies
  • Idea generation: generating new market, product and business ideas
  • Solution definition: defining winning solutions for identified market opportunities
  • Go-to-market strategy: defining a sales and marketing model for a new product or market
  • Innovation and product development: defining a new process to accelerate commercialization
  • Partnership strategy: defining a wining approach to strategic alliances
  • Corporate innovation: defining an approach to building corporate capabilities
